We are looking for skilled and motivated Magento Developers to join our growing remote engineering team. This role is ideal for professionals with 2–4 years of experience who are passionate about building scalable, high-performance eCommerce solutions. You will work on developing, customizing, and optimizing Magento-based stores, collaborating closely with designers, project managers, and integration teams to deliver robust digital commerce experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Build, customize, and maintain Magento 1 & Magento 2 stores, covering both front-end and back-end development.
Develop custom modules, extensions, and features using PHP and Magento best practices.
Customize themes and enhance user experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI techniques.
Integrate Magento with third-party systems such as ERP, CRM, POS, payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing tools.
Implement headless commerce and Progressive Web App (PWA) solutions for modern, high-performance storefronts.
Optimize website performance, scalability, and load times, especially for high-traffic environments.
Ensure platform security by applying patches, upgrades, and following Magento security standards.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve functional, performance, and integration issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews and follow clean coding, version control, and documentation standards.
Support ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements of existing Magento projects.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
2–4 years of hands-on experience in Magento development.
Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, and CSS.
In-depth understanding of Magento architecture, modules, themes, and customization best practices.
Experience developing custom Magento modules and extensions.
Knowledge of eCommerce concepts such as checkout flow, catalog management, payments, shipping, and promotions.
Experience integrating Magento with ERP, CRM, POS, payment gateways, and third-party APIs.
Familiarity with headless commerce concepts and PWA Studio is a strong plus.
Experience with performance optimization, caching (Redis/Varnish), indexing, and database optimization.
Understanding of Magento security standards, patching, and upgrade processes.
Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
Ability to analyze issues, debug efficiently, and propose scalable solutions.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development workflows is an advantage.

1–3 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
